Corera was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1983 and has spent the last decade cultivating a powerful and unique artistic vision that spans disciplines and creative projects. Since he first hit the scene in 2007, he has amassed an impressive catalogue of high profile work, not only as a director but also an award-winning photographer and musician.

His film career began as a pioneering music video director in Latin America, earning him his first Latin Grammy nomination for Best Director in 2013. Since then he has brought his bold & ambitious style to the advertising world, crafting heavyweight commercials and stills for the likes of, DIESEL, Bankia, Coca-Cola and Rexona; and scooping himself a win at Cannes. In 2016, he finally took home a Latin Grammy for Best Director for his video ‘Gallo Negro’ of IKV. He later won two Gardel Awards.

In 2019 He has been nominated for best Director and Best Cinematography at the CAMERIMAGE Festival for his video "You're Not Alone" of Agoria.

As a photographer, Corera calls on frequent collaborators, such as Rolling Stone Magazine, to push and cultivate his personal art and fashion projects. Earlier this summer, Vice Studios announced Corera will be directing a scripted Spanish series they are developing with Nicolas Giacobone, the Oscar-winning screenwriter of Birdman, titled La Misa del Diablo (The Devil’s Mass). Based on a book of the same name, the story centres around a cop trying to solve the mysterious murder of an Argentine boy.
