DIRECTOR

Martín Holzman (aka Holzman) was born in 1993 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They say it was a nice spring Monday night.

He lived almost his whole life in Villa Crespo. A Jewish working-class neighbourhood, where he learnt everything about humour.

He finished his studies in film at the prestigious Universidad del Cine, in Buenos Aires. And then he started working in advertising in Argentinacine.

His short films were screened at different film festivals around the world. And he was awarded New Talent/Young director of the year in 2020, followed by different prizes like Ad&D and Cannes Lions.

Nobody knows where he is based. Somewhere in between Buenos Aires and Madrid. On solid ground. With Wi-Fi connection and specialty coffee.
