Rudolf works internationally as a director and cinematographer.

His early passion for film evolved under the counter at his mother’s video store. This predestination fast forwarded him to the camera.

Graduated from the University of Theatre, Film and Television in Budapest, as a director and dop. Before that, he absolved Philosophy at the University of Szeged. He also studied in the United States for 2 years, graduating at the St.Andrews- Sewanee School.

His deep admiration for creating something from nothing, creating magic from dust comes through in his coherent, crafted, visually powerful works. He looks for beauty in stolen moments, truthful emotions in misspoken words, hidden smiles on struggling faces.

Over this horizon, he experiments with different narrative styles in order to find the way to tell a story. From feature documentaries through experimental music videos till studying philosophy for five years before film school, contributes to a broad approach and a focused vision.

Works include films for Telekom, Vodafone, Telenor, Nespresso, Tesco, Audi, awards and merits received at Locarno Film Festival, EPICA, San Sebastian.

Rudolf’s most recent work is a short film for World Down Syndrome Day.
