THE LAUNDRY

“The Laundry” is an introspective film revolving around five different characters who unexpectedly find themselves locked inside a laundromat during the pandemic.

A young woman with surgically enhanced breasts and little self-confidence. A caretaker who yearns so deeply for the applause of others. A businessman who sees no one but himself. A child who doesn't know where to go and a morbidly obese woman who has already given up hope in life. With limited options, they are forced to confront their own inner traumas and learn how to navigate their relationships with each other. What initially seems absurd gradually turns into a touching and relatable exploration of humanity. 

This short film takes viewers on a journey of personal transformation as the characters evolve and grow.
