Citizen James, Or The Young Man Without A Country” is a feature film project, developed by MYGOSH GmbH, that adapts to screen the original one-man theatrical play of the same title.

Commissioned by Syracuse Stage in 2019, the play was written by award-winning author, scenarist and playwright, Kyle Bass. It is the story of a young aspiring writer, Jame, who decides to self-exile to be able to write about the reality of racial prejudice in America.
